Crater Lake National Park has the deepest lake in America. The beauty and intense blue water is ringed by cliffs almost 2,000 feet high. The lake has no stream that runs into or out of the lake. Therefore, it is considered a closed ecological system. It is one of the purest and most pristine in the world.

This picturesque place was caused by shattered remnants of a volcano called Mount Mazama which erupted and collapsed into itself about 7,700 years ago. Crater Lake was our 25th park canceled successfully as a family.
